Snapchat changes name to Snap Inc., and announces Spectacles

Today will be unforgetten in Snapchat's history, with the changes made today, this morninig.

Snapchat has changed their company name from Snapchat Inc. to Snap Inc. But why?

Reasons is that, when Snap Inc first launched their company, Snapchat was their only product not until today, they added a new brand, and they called it "Spectacles".

Spectacles are pair of sun glasses that have a bulit-in video camera in them with a 115 degree view.

In it, is also a LED indicator that informs other people when you are recording.

Spectacles records 10 second videos, and after recording, they are sent to your smartphone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection, and they saved in the Snapchat app.

Something special about Spectacles is that, it records videos in a circular format, and you can watch them in that same circular form in the app.

The sun glasses comes in three different colours, and a battery, said to last upto a day with snaps on a single charge.

As at now, Snap Inc. hasn't announced when Spectacles will be available, neither have the company announced the price.
