How to disable Heads-up notifications on Android Marshmallow Smartphones

Heads-up notifications has been a noise to almost every Android Marshmallow and Lollipop users, getting instant popups every minute, especially when your Data is On. Oh my! You wouldn't want to get on the bad side of Heads-up notifications, because it isn't cool at all.

Months ago, Android users thought they found a solution to their problem in an app called Heads-Off, but it was quite a disappiontment when the app wasn't able to withstand the noisy and tireless Heads-up notifications.

Thankfully, at long last, Google has responded to these issue by introducing a new option called "disable", that word should already form a meaning in your mind.

The disable option was introduced for Android Marshmallow users, and very soon will be made available for other versions.

How to disable Heads-up notifications on your Android Marshmallow device

Goto your phone's Settings, then Sound & notification settings, there you will able to search and disable the app that has always Heads-up your notification list.

After you have found the app, tap on Allow Peeking to switch the heads-up notification OFF, and after it switches, the nofication will switch as well.

Congratulations! You have just disabled the heads-up notification. For that app.

Note: You can also use this same settings to disable other apps.
