400 million machines now runs Windows 10 OS
400 million active machines now runs windows latest operating system, OS 10. Wow!
Despite, Windows users were totally addicted to the older versions, windows 7, 8 and 8.1. This versions were used almost everywhere, even for businesses, in banks, cyber cafes, hospitals and at home. However, that couldn't stop them from trying the latest OS 10, and besides, it's doesn't cost a dime.
A couple of months ago, when it was recorded that about 350 million machines were already running Windows 10, until few months ago, when the free-ugrade which lasted for a year, was officialy closed on July 4.
The free-upgrade system was the main secret how the company was able to pull-up 350million machines in just a year, almost half a billion, which was the company's main target before mid-2018.
Suprisingly, after the free-upgrade was closed, an additional 50million machines joined the league making it 400million active machines running Windows 10. It must have been slowed-down after the free-upgrade was closed but, however, the company still aims to have 1billion machines run Windows 10.

Active machines refers to machines that have been actively used in the past 28 days. This includes PCs, Smartphones, Xbox One, Surface Hubs and Hoolens.
