Find Free and Public Wi-Fi with Facebook Wi-Fi Discovery
Facebook is currently working on a feature called "Facebook Wi-Fi Discovery." This feature allows you to find (and discover) Free and Public Wi-Fi in your area.
Though, the feature isn't fully out and it's still been tested in some selected countries, some iOS users in those selected countries are able to use it. Hopefully, the feature will be launched globally, early december. Isn't that cool? From the comfort of your home using the Facebook WiFi Discovery, you can disover free and public WiFi you never knew, existed in your area (or Location) for a long time. Interestingly, the feature doesn't only show you Free and Public WiFi's connection, but as well, includes the provider details like Name and some other public information, and also it tells you how you long it will take you to get to that location of Free WiFi and if it can connect-to your device.
“To help people stay connected to the friends and experiences they care about, we are rolling out a new feature that surfaces open Wi-Fi networks associated with nearby places,” says a Facebook spokesperson
