How to know the name of the Template a blogger site is using

If you want to know which Blogger template your favorite blogs are using, then you are probably not new to Blogger. So I guess there will be a pass on what Blogger is. But just incase you are new to Blogger, I recently wrote an article that will sort of enlighten you a bit about Google Blogger platform.

If you could flash back, there was a period of time in your blogging career when you visited a Blogger blog and you were intrigued and atonished by the Template. You said to yourself,

"Wow! This Template is beautiful, professional and most importantly, it is well Search Engine Optimized ( let's just say it's SEO-ish.) I should have this Template to myself!"

Yeah! I too have had that overwhelming experience, infact we all have. But the issue is how do we go about it. How do I even know the name of the Blogger Template, not to even now talk of downloading it.

As long as you are able to know the Template a Blogger blog is using, then getting it shouldn't be a problem. Cause even my puppy dog should be a to do that. Lol! Only kidding.

So without further ado, how do you figure out the name of the Template a Google Blogger blog is using, or should I say, how do you know the name of the Template a Blogger site is using. With this trick, it's not only the Template name you will know, you will also know the name of the developer.

How to know the Template a Blogger blog is using?

The hack in this trick is pretty easy. Here's how it works. All we will be doing is-viewing the blog's source code. In the source code you will be able to see all the codes the Blogger blog has installed. And in this scenario, we will be checking out for the Template's name and stuffs like that. In a site's source code, you tend to see what's going on behind the scene of the blog, features you wouldn't see while viewing the blog normally on your browser.

How to source code any website or blog with your Computer

If you are on a computer, all you have to do while on the Blogger-site is right click and then you click on "view page source".

A new window or should I say a new page will reload showing you the blog's source code.

How to source code any website or blog on your Mobile Phone using Chrome

It's simple! All you have to do is add view-source: to the link of the website you want to view in your Google Chrome Browser address bar.

For example, if you want to view Techyhands.com homepage source code on your phone, all you to do is add view-source: to the homepage link. Something like this, view-source:https://techyhands.com

Now that you are viewing the blog source, what's next?

If you are on Desktop, on the source code page just press "ctrl + f". But if you are on Mobile, all you have to do is click the three dots found at the top-right-corner of your screen, then scroll-down a-bit you will "Find in page", click it.

Now what's next?

Now search for any of the following, "Blogger Theme", "Template Theme", "Template Name", "Copyright", the list goes on and on depending on what you are searching for. These few search keywords should be enough to find the Template name the Blogger site is using, as long as the blog owner hasn't edited the Template, you should find it just there, just like mine. You know some bloggers nowadays are all about writing that we sometimes are too lazy to edit our template.
