MTN Cheapest Data Plan in 2020
The year 2019 came with some really cheap data plans. Even, I myself, at first, I found it almost too good to be true. How would you explain getting 1GB for N200, or 200MB for just N50?? It's mind blowing, right? Yes! I couldn't agree more to that. But just so unfortunately, this plan are not for all MTN subscribers; as it would require some criteria to be eligible. It maybe probably because you haven't used your MTN SIM for a while, or you are a new customers who just got registered on MTN Network, anything can make you eligible for the so called "MTN special data plans".
Welcome Back Data Plans
The Welcome Back Data Plan on MTN is by far the cheapest data plan ever, I mean ever. When it was first introduced, it took the data world in Nigeria for a big storm. How would you explain getting 4GB for N1000 on MTN?Unfortunately, the Welcome Back Data Plan is only eligible to subscribers who haven't performed any data activity on the MTN network within 60 to 180 days. In other words, these are for subscribers who hasn't browsed on their line or bought a data plan within 60 to 180 days.
This strategy by MTN is to help to recover customers who hasn't been using thier SIM for quite a while. And I must say, it worked!
