MTN gives free 100MB data to compensate their slow internet speed

About some few days ago (as at the time of writing), MTN sent a message to her subscribers to apologise for the inconvenience and slow data speed subscribers have been faced-up-with for past few days.

MTN are having a bit of issue on thier server as a result of increase in their subscribers. Recall, for past months now, MTN has unarguably taking the lead when it comes to cheap and pocket friendly data plans. Infact, some people now even call them the new "Glo - Grandmasters Of Data".. We all used to know Glo for her affordable data plans, but it's like MTN is gradually beginning to take the lead. Well, let's see how long they can hold this title.

The strategy seems to be working in magnetting Glo subscribers. For the past months, Glo customers has been porting to MTN network. With these sudden increase, MTN server seems to going out of shape- as it has more than it can chew.

However, some few days ago, MTN apologized with an SMS, saying;

Y'ello! Our XtraTime/XtraByte service is back online! We apologise for the inconvenience & thank you for your patience. #JustForYou

As if it was not enough, the network is giving free 100MB data valid for 2 days as a token of their appreciation. Latter today, I MTN received an SMS saying;

Y'ello, our internet service has been restored. Thank you for your patience. Enjoy 100MB FREE as a token of our appreciation. Valid for 2 days. Dial*131*4# to check.

Well, what can we say? I think it's high time we let it go and accept thier apology. MTN you are forgiven!! Lol!
