MTN Double Data, How to activate MTN 9GB for 2000 Naira and 1.5GB for 500 Naira
Download the MyMTN App via Google Play Store and Sign in.
When you log in, you will see a page like the picture below. On that page, scroll down and click on "MEGA DEAL ZONE" found under the "QUICK ACCESS" session.
After that, you will see a page the picture below - MTN Crack The Egg.

On that page you will find three eggs, one for Recharge, Combo, and Bundle. In all of these eggs are 2-special offers each, in the Recharge egg you will see two offers;
- Get Extra N400 to call all Networks when you recharge N100 (valid for 3days)
- Get Extra 1000 Naira to call Networks in Nigeria when you recharge N200 (valid for 3days)
Just as well in the Combo egg, you will also see 2-offers,

About some few weeks ago (as at the time of writing), it come to our knowledge that on MyMTN App you are able to get double data. Yes! It's great!! But, it's limited to only the 4.5GB for N2000 and 750MB for N500 offer. What this means is that, you can only get double data on only those aforementioned data plans. if you activate the 1.5GB for N1000 offer, would you be given extra 1.5GB data?? Absolutely no way!
And that was what inspired the update of this article.
New Method to activate MTN Double Data 2020 Offer on your line
There are two ways to activate MTN double data on your line.
- If you were among the shortlisted MTN subscriber to receive a message saying;
SPECIAL VIP OFFER
Enjoy DOUBLE DATA till 29-03-2020
N1000 for 3GB
N1200 for 4GB
N1500 for 6GB
N2000 for 9GB
To activate, dial *131*1# and *131*4# for bonus
Then by default (just as long as it's between the given period), you are eligible for MTN Data Offer.
- If you didn't receive the aforementioned message, there's still a way to activate double data offer on your line. All you have to do is go to any MTN center with any of your accredited government issue card (it could be your National ID card, driver's license, or passport) and upgrade your MTN line to 4G LTE. After your SIM card has been upgraded, your line will be eligible for the double offer for 3 months. As simple as that! But please make sure your phone and location supports 4G LTE so that this offer works for you.
Yeah! Yeah! That's all you need to activate MTN double data 2020. So if you purchase any of the monthly data plan that cost from N1000 to N2000, you get extra data equivalent to the one you purchase.
