How to check your JAMB 2020 UTME Result (Online or via SMS)

The 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) commenced on Saturday, 14th of March. And so far, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has started releasing the results.

Over the past couple of days, it has come to my notice that some of the candidates who sat for the exam don't have the slightest idea on how to check their JAMB 2020 UTME result. And I said to myself, "How I about I help these guys out by creating an article on how to check your 2020 UTME result."

But before I proceed, I have also come across questions like;

After my exam, how long does it take for my 2020 JAMB UTME Result to be out?

"

Well! It depends. But from what I have noticed based on how the results were released this year. It takes roughly about 24 hours plus for you to see your result. To recall, those that started on the first day (14th of March), their result was released in the 16th of March (which was on Monday. About 48 hours interval!) While as for those that wrote their exams on Monday, their result was released the next day (just 24 hours interval).. In conclusion, just like I said earlier, it would take about 24 hours or more for you to see your result after writting..

How to check your JAMB 2020 UTME Result

In this article, I will be proposing two ways to check your result. You can either check it online or via SMS. So the choice is yours!

You want to check your UTME result online? Read on!

Step 1: Visit https://www.jamb.org.ng/ExamSlipPrinting2/CheckUTMEResults on your browser (Google Chrome preferredly)

Step 2: Enter your JAMB registration number or Email into the space provided.

Step 3: Click on "Check My Result".

Step 4: And in a sec! You will see your result on your screen.

You want to check your UTME result via SMS? Read on!

Step 1: Using the number you used in registering for JAMB, send "RESULT" to "55019"

Step 2: After sending the message, in a sec or so, you will receive an SMS saying;

Your request has been recieved and is being processed, you will get response shortly.The service will cost you #50.

Step 3: After above message, the next message you will see is your jamb result. Something like this;

Dear Techyhands Blog CEO, Your 2020 UTME Result: ENG: 100, MAT: 100, PHY: 100, CHE: 100, Aggregate: 400

NOTE: 

  • SMS cost N50 charge
  • If after trying to check your result online or via SMS and nothing pops up, then I will advise you give it sometime and check later. This might be probably because yours hasn't been uploaded yet.

Yeah! That's all!! Can't you see the owner of this blog is a nerd?? He got "400" in JAMB!!! Lol. I wish you Good luck though.
