Nokia 8.3 5G Price in Nigeria and Specs

Nokia HMD Global has unveiled it's first ever 5G phone, Nokia 8.3 5G. The device borrows most of it's design from it's predecessor, Nokia 7.2.

Nokia 8.3 5G is not much of a flagship device and unarguably not a replacement for Nokia 9 PureView. Well, you can say it's a cheaper option to the maker's top flagship device.

Nokia 8.3 5G comes with a 6.81-inch FHD+ display, with 1080 by 2400px screen resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a 171.9 x 78.6 x 9mm dimmension, a 386 PPI density and it weighs 220g.

As for photography, Nokia 8.3 5G brings a quad rear camera, a 64MP main shooter with f/1.9 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. On the front surface, it spots a punch-hole notch just at the top left corner that houses a 24MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The camera features include Zeiss optics, Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR.

Nokia 8.3 5G is powered by a Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G chipset and a whooping non-removable 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The phone runs Android 10 and also supports upgrade to Android 11 (just in case it's unveiled in the nearest future). Coupled with the processor is a 6GB/8GB RAM and a 64GB/128GB internal memory.

Connectivity options on Nokia 8.3 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, USB 2.0, 5G, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G.

Sensors on board include gyro, compass, Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity.
