Renowned Smartphone maker, Infinix has just launched a Smart TV in the Nigerian market, Infinix Smart TV S1. The TV comes in two options, the 43-inches size (also known as Infinix Smart TV 43S1) priced for N93,900 and the 55-inches size (also known as Infinix Smart TV 55S1) which is priced for N152,000.

Now you may be wondering why a smartphone company is launching a TV. Isn't this launch suppose to be a phone? Infinix aims to be bring more innovative products to the Nigerian market, and it's no surprise, because at the age we-are-now it takes more than a smartphone to keep young consumers entertained; They always keep wanting more and more!

“The launch of the first Infinix smart TV is going to motivate and enrich the tech industry in Africa,” said Amos zuo, Infinix Mobility Country Manager.  “As the young generations grow up, their demands for entertainment continues to rise and with the combination of smart technologies like our smartphones and the newly launched smart TV, we will be able to meet their demands for non-stop entertainment and more so, surpass their expectations and consequently inspire them to think bigger and get more creative.”

Infinix Smart TV 55S1 comes with a 4k (Ultra HD) screen. For the picture quality, the HDR functions shows lifelike colors and it doesn't leave any bit of information uncovered.

The Infinix TV provides young consumers with an “Elegant” and “Intelligent” viewing experience.

Infinix 55S1 comes with a 3120 x 2160 screen resolution, while the the latter has a 1920 x 1080 display. Talking of the memory capacity, Infinix 55S1 comes with a 1.5GB RAM and a 8GB internal memory; while the 43-inches version comes with a 1GB RAM and a 8GB ROM.

Availability and Price

The Infinix S1 55-inches TV is priced for 152,000 Naira, while the S1 43-inches TV is priced for 93,900 Naira in Nigeria. The Smart TV will be available at all authorized electronic stores in Nigeria.
