TECNO Camon 16 series seems to be coming alot sooner than expected. It just four months ago TECNO launched Camon 15 series in Nigeria, and now the smartphone maker is giving tip for the next generation of Camon series; Tecno Camon 16, 16 Air, 16 Premier and 16 Pro.

Although, TECNO Nigeria hasn't giving any tip on this new device, but their neighbouring counterpart, TECNO Kenya, says the new device will be released next month starting with the Camon 16 Premier.

TECNO sets the launch date for Camon 16 Series to be September 3rd, and official sales will begin September 4th.

TECNO Camon series has always been a camera focused smartphone; it's no surprise that the new line ups will be bring alot of more camera capabilities.

The company says the Camon 16 will possess a 64MP rear camera, and obviously this should came along with the usual wide angle and depth sensors.

As for selfies this time, the company tip the device to have a dual camera, a 48MP shooter and a x secondary camera. That's one hell of a selfie camera for a midranger.

So far so good that's all we know about the upcoming Camon 16 series. There haven't been any word out yet about the device processor, storage options, RAM and it's pricing (something we would have specifically love to know prior to it's launch.)

For the Nigerian market, we can't really say how soon it's coming here, but we know it ain't gonna be long before it reaches our mother land.
