Facebook set to Launch Express Wi-Fi Hotspot in Lagos with CoolLink

The Express Wi-Fi service was first established in India, and now Nigeria, which makes it 2nd country after India to have the Express Wi-Fi by Facebook.

Facebook has partnered with one of Nigerian's local internet service provider - CoolLink, to establish a 'Local range Network' that is more affordable and faster, compared to the services by Network Operators like MTN, Etisalat, Glo and Airtel .

The Express Wi-Fi will be Official this week. Though! It's said to have been functioning in some specific areas like Ikota Shopping Complex, and the rest. I guess it was only available 'Privately' for Tests, but this week it will out in-the-open, and made public to everyone, and anyone. To use, that signals the Express Wi-Fi.

Express Wi-Fi is a programm by Facebook that let's Mobile and Smartphone users purchase, and Buy data plans from Local Internet Service Providers, at a very cheaper cost. Yes! Very cheap.

Do know you can get upto 5GB monthly for just N1,600? I myself, never believed that to be possible until now.

Facebook Express Wi-Fi Data Plans

For the Daily Plan (24hrs), you get 100MB for N40, and 300MB for N110.

For the Weekly Plan (7days), you get 750MB for N270, and 2GB for N700.

As For the Monthly Plan (30 days), you get 3GB for N1,000, and 5GB for N1,600.

Isn't that cheap? So cheap, because currently am sure you would spend more than N2,500 to purchase a data plan of 5GB from Network Operators here in Nigeria.

Currently, their service is available to only Lagos and will be reaching other county as soon as the first phase, in Lagos is completed.
